279 home owners signed a petition for Hacienda Village to have an incorporated Homeowners Association. The legality was completed and finalized May 8, 1985. The HOA board serves as the go- between for the home owners and the community management.
The most important reason to join the HOA is to be a part of your community and being able to vote on current issues. A small investment for the services and benefits provided by an all volunteer associaton of homeowners with common interests.
HOA dues are allocated between the general fund and the legal reserves. General funds sponsor events such as the holiday dinners, cook-outs and pool parties, as well as covering the expenses of running a business. Board members generously give their time, knowledge, and expertise benefiting all the homeowners of Hacienda Village.
It’s important to attend HOA meetings to be informed about what’s happening in the community. It could be a large upcoming project like resurfacing the roads, or significant changes like an increase in lot rent, or voicing your opinion about an issue like a change being made to the By-Laws. HOA meetings are also a way to get to know your Board members and understand your community.
Participating in your Homeowners Association is a great way to get to know the other residents. Introduce yourself to your neighbors, Who doesn’t appreciate a friendly, neighborly wave in the morning?
The purpose of committees in a Homeowners Association is to make HOA living better for residents. There are numerous committees to get involved in, and it helps make the community stronger.
Monthly membership meetings are held on the third Monday of the month. Monthly board of director's meetings are held on the first Monday of the month. Join us!
